Really awesome! Of course it was not the best game ever or the best VN. But still, I had a great time! Hope for Sakura 2 translation!

So this one is a bit odd, but it is mostly my fault for coming into it with the wrong expectations. I've never really been a big fan of dating sim/visual novel games. When I chose to play this one about a year ago, I was hoping it would be a 50/50 mix between action and story. It is more of a 80/20 with dating sim being the 80. That isn't going to be a problem for most people coming into this game that know what to expect, but if you're like me be warned.

That isn't to say that the game was boring, I actually had enough fun playing it that I revisited the series by playing So Long, My Love a few months ago. Now that game is more of a 97/3 in terms of dating/action, so I'm not sure I'll continue with other entries in the series after playing that one.

The story in this game was fun, but very anime. The world is so bizarre and eclectic that is adds a lot of charm. The combat is SRPG-lite. Grid based combat with physical attacks and abilities, but no progression system of any kind. Really the action portions of the game are kind of an afterthought.

As far as the translation goes they did a great job. No issues were encountered. No graphical issues or freezes occurred during the playthrough. No typos or other mistakes were noticed, and the overall result was very professional. The game itself presents a few inappropriate situations (I know that this is not uncommon in anime-type stories, but one of the girls you can "date" in this game is like 10 years old), but I did not find anything inappropriate or immature in the translation itself.

Great work everyone! This fan translation has been needed for such a LONG time: it's one of those hidden gems.
