Translation description
This is a Portuguese (PT) translation patch for the 32X version of Doom.
The following is 100% translated (accented characters included):
• Copyright screen.
• All menu options, skill levels, level intermissions, etc.
• All HUD elements such as Health, Arms, etc.
• All level textures, exit signs, ammo boxes, etc. where applicable.
• Credits and enemy names.
Further, the patch includes several improvements and fixes for the game, making it so all levels can now be 100% completed unlike the original game. For a full list of changes, please consult the Readme file included.
I've also included an optional patch that applies all the changes of the translation patch and also adds the BFG 9000. This way purists get to choose between something closer to retail release and what amounts to a very minor restoration hack.
This patch applies to a US/Japan DOOM ROM. Use
xdelta UI to apply the patch.
