Star Ocean - one more game for the SNES that never made it from Japan across the ocean to the rest of the world ... Now 24 years later, I've got finally the chance to play this amazing RPG in German language!

When I played the game for the first time in English I've been fascinated from the beginning. The story is great, the characters are all quite different and a good balance between fighting skills and magic stuff offers a pretty good mixture within the game. Besides each character can learn different skills an improve their abilities in battle, cooking and many many more. In the beginning it might be easy, however the difficulty rises the more you proceed in the game.

Your team includes up to eight different characters from which four act in battle. There're more than eight playable characters in the game but some join only your team when another special character is already in your party and the other way around. In result you need to play the game several times to experience all different characters in different constellations.

I highly recommend this game because it's a "pearl of beauty" regarding RPGs and you shouldn't miss it at all. Besides the quality of the translation is really well done!
