Translation description

This is a complete Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 translation patch, based on the Project Exile script.
It translates all the dialogue, UI, menus and graphics of the game into English.

Lil' Manster completes Project Exile by translating some of the missing menu text, including unused content. It also fixes a number of glaring translation inaccuracies, updates names to fit with new localized Fire Emblem content and completes a lot of the game's information by providing more complete descriptions.

The patch as a whole got a fresh coat of paint, with more readable menu and dialogue fonts, better UI and less (minor) graphical glitches.
Finally, a number of quality-of-life features were added to make your experience of Thracia as smooth as it can be.

Included in the archive is a folder full of small add-ons, that implement various quality-of-life features, and some difficulty modifiers.

I only wanted to show my gratitude, as a fire emblem enjoyer, I'm really delighted to be able to not only understand the game with such refined translation and also have all those quality of life included.

I cannot say enough good things about this translation. I'm one of those types that has a hard time enjoying a game with grammar or spelling issues, so I often find myself waiting for that dreaded moment when the first one hits and all my hopes turn to despair. I know that sounds dramatic, but it means you can rest assured my standards are sky-high when I say that this is maybe the best translation I've ever encountered—of anything. I only just started the game, mind you, but it is glorious. Unusual patching issue: Flips couldn't apply the BPS file. While the IPS file seemed to work just fine, it resulted in a black screen with no audio (tested on bsnes, Snes9x, and a MiSTer). To get it to work, I had to download the patch (same version) from Serenes Forest instead. Anyway, if you have issues like I did, don't just assume that your hardware/software is incompatible (bsnes might be though). This translation is worth the effort.

And here I thought Project Exile would be the definitive Thracia Release... Lil' Manster is everything and so much more. The translation is even better and more up to date with modern Fire Emblem names. The quality of life is higher than any Fire Emblem fan patch with optional HP Bars and weapon EXP bars. The description of items in Lil' Manster are so useful that it greatly diminishes the need to go check a guide for everything. Amazing work. I can't wait for the last update.
