I highly recommend this translation, the author was impeccable in everything, I finished the game 100% three times already; I played it on SD2SNES and nothing is out of place, it's really worth getting to know this gem, as well as this rare gem that this translation has, highly recommended!!!

Now I intend to play the "BS version Picross" as well as all Picross from the Nintendo Power (NP) service Picross Vol. 1 to Vol. 8, I also want to play Oekaki Logic 1 & 2 which fit magnificently into the same context, thank you @FCandChill

I had played this game untranslated first. When I found this patch I decided to give it a try again and play a few puzzles.

Little did I realize I had somehow missed that Wario levels even existed in my Japanese play-through.

FCandChill deserves a ton of applause because this hack is exquisite.

Since this is a puzzle game, there's not a great deal of text to go through, but every little bit of Japanese is translated to English, and the results are solid. The stylized typeface renders beautifully on screen, the tutorial instructions are easy to understand, and the character dialog directed at the player looks neatly done and reads well.

I also love the incredible presentation that this hack has to offer. From the fully stylized title screen to the titles for each completed puzzle, the high level of polish and detail lends itself to looking and feeling like an official stateside Nintendo release, and if I didn't know any better and were handed the game in this state, I would absolutely think that it was.

Overall, this is a fantastic hack for an equally fantastic game. It's an unbelievably clean and well-done translation that's absolutely worth your time. Highly recommended.

On This Year 2021 Nintendo Launch the Super Mario's Picross for Nintendo Switch Online in USA and Europe but the problem is what Was in Japanese Perfect and months later FCandChill make the English Translation After 26 years without having translated into English and He did an excellent job of translating the entire game except for the main stages where you have to break blocks to see some kanji. This is recommended for those people who prefer to play Japanese puzzle games like this.

The translation is excellent, quality work. Played thru the tutorial and the first couple of levels and everything seems fine. With this translation being done, maybe we will someday even the Picross NP series translated!

A fine effort indeed. The translated graphics look great, especially the title screen logo. So many fan translations come up with the ugliest title screens, but we have been spared this time.

I fear they may have opened up a can of worms with this translation patch––the Super Famicom received a truckload of Picross games after this one. Mario's Super Picross is just the tip of the iceberg.

While this translation is good, the one thing that I found lacking, as evidenced by one of the screenshots, is how the Katakana/Kanji puzzles weren't changed to letters of the alphabet like in Nintendo's translation of the original Mario's Picross. Other than that, the translation is solid.

Great translation! You can tell there is a lot of love put into this patch. Perfect excuse to do all the puzzles once more, this was my second picross game to try many years ago after discovering the English GB picross. Cannot thank the translators/hackers enough, although language is not a deal breaker for Picross games, it's really nice to have such a good translation. Contrary to other opinions, I like the Japanese characters as they are, and the nice touch of adding their romanized pronunciation, that's the best way to enjoy the original in my opinion.
