I must say that this translation was very much overdue! Having played through the game last year, I found it to be a convoluted mess that didn't make much sense. With FCC's new translation, the game went from being weird to simply being cryptic. The dialogue is easier to understand now, and makes the bulk of the story make at least a bit of sense. The game itself is a bit of a mixed bag however. The adventure itself is so-so, and unless you know what you're doing throughout, you're going to spend a LOT of time not knowing what you're supposed to do. So you know, standard text adventure stuff. The sea maze portion at the back end though, THAT is a headache and a half. It's a long, tedious portion of the game that does nothing to help improve things. Overall though, The Legend of Princess Kaguya is worth a look...and FCC's work has made it worth a much longer look than before!
