Translation description

This patch consists in a full Catalan translation of the videogame Earthbound (known as Mother 2 in Japan).

The patch, as of all of its content, was created with SnakeCoil 4.2.

The translation is mostly based on the oficial English translation made by Marcus Lindblom in 1995. However, several changes have been made, mostly based on the data from Legends of Localization, made by Clyde Mandelin in 2016. The purpose of these changes is to achieve a translation more similar to the original Japanese script. Several censorship elements were eliminated, several translation mistakes committed by Lindblom were corrected and some references to the American/Japanese pop culture have been adapted to reflect more accurately the humour of the game.

Aside from that, the patch also includes a run button (Y) not present in the original release.
