Translation description

The "director's cut" of Contra is the Japanese version with its animated backgrounds and cutscenes, but the cutscenes need translating for international audiences.

This is essentially a revision of the Stardust Crusaders patch that addresses my minor nitpicks with the logo and the text pacing. No offense to the great work done there.

Logo: Replace the flying turd of fire with burning and embers inspired by the Japanese title. Also included is a version of the patch that keeps the Japanese title screen.

Text: Shorter and sweeter. The previous translation was too wordy and slowed down the pace compared to the original Japanese. Now the attract mode text takes 6 seconds to appear (instead of 19) and the intro fits the length of the music track. In general things move at the right speed, the story is clearer, and the margins are clean.
