Kekkyoku Nankyoku Daibouken (Japan).nes - NOINTROTranslation description
This is one of the frickin' smallest patches we have hosted here. The game didn't really have much to translate other than one line. One FRICKIN' line. In the map screen, you formerly had three kanjis. Now there's a line that says "South Pole". And the font was cleaned up a bit. And there's an ad for DvD Translations in the title. And that's it.Screenshots

Antarctic Adventure - Game review: Being a penguin enthusiast, I've loved this game since I first found it many years ago. The object is to race your penguin to the end of each level before time runs out, while avoiding crevasses and sea otters, and collecting flags and fish for points. Although I'll have to admit the MSX version is far superior, this game is still fun. The only problem I have with it is that after about 30 levels or so, the game becomes impossible; even if you play through the level perfectly, you'll still run out of time. Antarctic Adventure - Translation review (version 1.00): I usually stick to the rule of "rate the hack/translation and not the game" but since only one line was translated, it's really not necessary. I mean, I had figured that the Japanese Kanji in the game said "South Pole" but I suppose seeing it in English makes me know for sure. Also, the sneaky little promotion for DvD translations in the title logo was pretty creative. What can I say? It works, at least. Recommended! | |||
