Worked on the translation of the Famicom game Jesus: Kyoufu no Bio Monster, including the hacking side.

Currently considering translation work for other games.

It was originally meant to be a web-journal of my travels in Japan. I’ve since expanded it to include a few game reviews and a bunch of useless random posts.
As far as I myself go, I was a college student at Rose-Hulman, studying Computer Science and Mathematics. After my studies there ended in 2007, a really cool software company in Indianapolis decided to accept my presence, for which I am very grateful.

I play way too many video games, and probably read too many books, and probably don’t get out enough. But you know what? At the end of the day, I still feel pretty good about myself (sorry, this happens about once every week or so, and I’m still trying to crush that part of me that has self-esteem).

Of interest to other people, I have not only completed a translation patch of a quirky NES game, I also write for an awesome gaming news site. If I manage to get any traffic for any of the other subjects I espouse – namely Romance of the Three Kingdoms among other books, Japanese culture, and poorly thought-out armchair pseudo-philosophy, well, I’ll take it.

If you ever need or want to get in contact with me, well, I’m lucky (or cursed, depending on where the tides of the internet turn) enough to have a unique pseudonym. If you take said pseudonym, I am reachable via the web site.
