Nana is one of the better tools available for locating images inside large files. The controls are intuitive and it works for most non-compressed image formats up to 8bit. Higher color images (16 or 24bit) can be located, but nana will not display them clearly. Since it scans files in 'real time' you can instantly see the results when adjust the width or bits-per-pixel.

Pros:

• Easy to scan through large files looking for graphics.
• Supports most graphic modes used on consoles up to the PS2 era.

Cons:

• Doesn't support 16 or 24 bit images.
• Uses a built in random palette so colors are off.
