Reviews

One of the best hacking editors out thereSupergamerguy2021-02-06Version 1.1

This was probably my favorite hacking editor to use ever. The process of making new levels is streamlined to the point where anyone can pick it up and put their creative level ideas out into the world. The creator has the ability to lay down any block they want, in any order or pattern or image they choose. And with the new bug fix (V1.1), every level can be completed and played through with powerups present in levels where they weren't before (in the original game). Using this to make my Mega Man Arkanoid hack allowed me to express my passion for the classic series in a convenient and easy-to-use way. Kudos to the program creators and their dedication to this underrated SNES title and all the potential it holds for new design.

Nice and handy tool for everyone!Poe2021-01-04Version 1.09

When Svambo and Dom aka Doke started the project they've been looking for potential victims for testing their new tool called ArkanEdit. Since I'm not familiar with hacking stuff and programming I wanted to give it a try by all means. And even for me the results were surprisingly successful.

Actually the handling of the tool is pretty easy and self-explaining. Choosing and changing backgrounds, different colourful blocks, all known sorts of enemies and bonus stuff. With all these things you can easily build your special own levels you always wanted to have and even play them! There's no limit for your creativity. And as a result Arkanoid Reblocked was born (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/5537/)! It's been a great experience and I look forward seeing new level creations from other fans of Arkanoid.
