Utility description

This program lets you edit lots of stuff in your Gran Turismo 3 game, and will patch your changes into the ROM/ISO.

Updated to version 1.2 (7/28/2024): You can now edit how much time you get to qualify for all of the tracks in the License Center. Giving yourself more time makes it much easier to get all your licenses.

Updated to version 1.1 (7/13/2024): Can now edit individual car performance/stats. Lowering the weight of a car (which you can now edit) will make it accelerate much faster, have a higher top speed, will handle better, and tires will last longer. Also added a few track numbers I accidentally left out of version 1.0 (numbers 044, 045, and 046).

Can edit:

* Track data like: number of laps, how many cars you race against (can race by yourself if you'd like), license required, prize money, etc.

* How much power CPU/opponent cars have (you can make them faster, slower, or completely stopped).

* Starting/new game money.

* How much it costs for car washes, oil changes, and wheel changes.

* Can also edit the cost of many of the cars in the game, as well as if they're available to purchase or not (locked).

* Editor shows the actual ROM/ISO address for most of the data it finds.

Works on both USA versions of the game: Version 1.0 or 1.10 (SCUS-97102 or PBPX 95503).

When patching, you can decide if you want it to create a new ISO or not. This keeps your original ISO safe.

You can read more about the editor here: https://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=39275.0

Will be updating in the future with a section for car performance (done).

Great editor!zacmario2024-07-10Version 1.0

This editor is so helpful. I had been debating starting to play gt3 again, but was dreading the slow grind. This will help get a quicker start and uptain a few cars I didn't have before!
