Seeing as Translhextion is my primary hex editor of choice, I felt it is my obligation to write a review for it.

If you've never used a hex editor before, it's straightforward: hex on the left, ASCII on the right. It supports Thingy table files, but it doesn't handle them well at all: the interface becomes glitchy and typing text will generate off-set text.

If massive text editing is your thing, try Windhex.

Other features include partially opening files (from specified offsets) relative searching, adding bookmarks, & script dumping.
