I'm surprised no one has even bothered to write a review on this. Guess I'll break the ice :D

This program is extremely user friendly. To what other editors out there can offer, this one by far is the most powerful that offers variety to customizing almost everything. Only sad part about Stake is that it cannot edit the map screen when you transition from stage to stage. That should be a possibility in the future as that's the one of a few things this cannot touch as some candles on other stages, like the ones on Stage 2, cannot be edited and moved within Stake - so if you know some programming you'll have to move those manually outside of Stake. Everything else? Yeah, you can edit that. Sadly the moving traps also in Stage 2 need to be manually moved as well as those tend to cause some issues when you save your project. Other than those small tidbits (few others though you'll find those out easily), everything else can be modified to your liking.

Alongside Editroid, I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to do a Castlevania 1 project. You won't be disappointed in this program :)
