On the surface, Blinky seems like a very easy-to-use tool. And from the time I've spent with it, it is indeed very simplistic and understandable. I could see anyone looking to getting into hacking starting with a tool like this, as it does most of the hard work for you.

This tool allows you to edit the layout of the maze itself, as well as modify palettes; number of lives; and starting maze and score. With a small amount of patience, I was rather quickly able to throw a maze or three together and modify their appearance.

However, this tool doesn't seem to do everything. One major thing I noticed was that it does not seem to have a way to reprogram the fruit, so if you move the Warp Tunnels, the fruit will spawn but never enter the maze. I could always just be overlooking an option such as that - as I have a habit of doing so - but either way, this is but one issue in an otherwise spectacular tool that could be utilized by beginners and pros alike.
