Utility description
This is perhaps one of the best NES emulators with a debugger and a slew of other neat features. This emulator is still being developed so you can expect more things in the future.Reviews
| BEST | Teeporage777 | 2017-12-20 | Version 2.2.3 |
Simply the best NES emulator I have ever used. Not much else to say. It has built in tools that come in handy for hacking. Debugger hex editor it even has a built in Game Genie. You really would not want to use another emulator after using this one. Give it a shot, you will be glad you did. I fully recommend this utility. It really makes hacking NES games easier then ever for me. Plus this emulator plays all or nearly all NES games very well.
| Almost definitive NES debugging tools | Corvo | 2015-02-15 | Version 2.2.2 |
I hacked and translated SD Hero Soukessen completely just with FCEUX, so I have to recommend this. For small projects, you can even do the hacking completely on FCEUX, save for editing tiles. It's very easy to learn and use, and the way everything is graphically represented just makes it easier to manage. I usually compare other debuggers to FCEUX, because it was one of the first I used. It's mostly complete, and very easy to use.
| The best & most compatible emulator to date for NES ROMS! | mrrichard999 | 2013-02-26 | - |
There is no alternative, FCEUX is the leading program that suits all your NES ROM needs! Not only does this program run about every NES ROM available smoothly and right, but has so many options you can fine tune to suit your needs for display & sound. The debugging options as well as the built in Game Genie & Pro Action Replay feature gives you the flexibility to abstract from any normal ROM's typical operations with ease. From being used to by a simple gamer, a ROM editor, or a code professional, this program takes the win of emulation for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
