I ripped a soundfont, however, it crashes every program that attempts to load the soundfont. However, it did a good job at ripping MIDI files. Not recommended for soundfonts.

I'm having fun ripping music from Golden Sun and it's working perfectly. There are issues with some instruments (and I don't think this is the only game with that problem), so it's not really good for soundtrack rips yet, but it's the best there is and I'm sure they'll fix everything in future releases. In the meantime, this tool is absolutely recommended for video game music lovers.
| Might be good, but fails at being userfriendly | Lunaria | 2012-08-17 | - |
I was psyched to try out a new GBA to MIDI ripper and converter as it fits just the bill of what I need to do some specific things. And not only that, this one said it was better than the other ones available ATM. However, it fails before I can even see how the rip quality is. The tool is only operable via command line launch. While I can understand that it takes time to code something else, what is given here is something that is not very user friendly at all. Being one who used DOS back in the days I thought I'd have no problem getting it to run, after all, command line is nothing new for me. So I followed the enclosed instructions in the read-me and tried to launch it, sadly, to no use. So, obviously, (even though I was quite sure I had it) I look into to see if I had java, which of course, I do indeed have! So I asked another, more tech savvy guy than me for some help. He suggested I try a few weird things (IMO) but in the end, I couldn't get it to run. So yeah, I want to give this a go, but I think making something at least slightly more user friendly would go a long way for this tool!
