Hack description

The Colosseum system is based on a duel between a opponent and a character. To participate in the duel, a bet item must be selected. The selected item will determinate the opponent and the reward item for the duel.

Unfortunately, the reward item isn't displayed before the bet item is selected. Without prior knowledge of the reward item, it can be a undesired reward for the bet item. The selection can't be undone and the player is forced to participate in the duel.

The patch changes the item display in the Colosseum window. The window now displays the bet items and their correspondents rewards.

"Get a load of the crowds!"Spooniest2017-02-13Version 1.1

...Look, I don't even need to play it. This was a good idea and I'm sure that if anything's wrong with the patch as it is, it will be fixed by someone down the line.

I'm giving this a pass simply based on concept. I am allowed to do that, right? I can just say, "Yeah, that's a good idea and I can tell from the screenshots that it is working and is done, insofar as that it must really accomplish what it set out to do."

That is a tremendous convenience to have in the Coliseum, because frankly, lots of the best gear in the game can't be bought. It can only be found in treasure chests, or ...yeah you guessed it, fought for at the Coliseum. Stealing doesn't get you hardly anything until after you can't save anymore, and Morphing is and always was a pain the butt, in any FF game it appeared in.

I cannot recommend this enough, hopefully there are no compatibility issues with either version of the game.

Spoony thumbs up, two of them.
